A Rebellion Against Distraction

My Plot to Overthrow the Tyranny of a Hundred Tab{p}s

I want my attention shielded from the noise and protect my cognitive space for the things that matter.

But we live in a world of noise.

Even with all the tools designed to help us thrive, each brings with it more interfaces (more taps), more tabs open, and more subscriptions. 💸😭

Another decision point. Another cognitive switch.

What begins as precision (best apps for X, best LLM model for Y, etc) slowly dissolves into fragmentation, dragged down by the very tools meant to lift it. And over time, it quietly drains the space once held for real thinking.

So I have been on a mission:
- Reduce the friction between thought and action.
- Shrink the 10+ tap dance across tools into 2–3 deliberate moves.
- Cancel subscriptions and uninstall what doesn’t serve. Replace with API calls and lightweight automations, accessed through a single touchpoint.

My tool of choice for this rebellion is a self-hosted n8n instance, which serves as an automation layer that talks to me through a single, familiar interface: Telegram.

I've documented a few of my workflows (and the stories behind them) below:

I declare that every workflow is a tiny rebellion against distraction (and a small win against resource suction). 😎🔥

Still refining, still learning (and honestly, having a lot of fun building all this).

If you want to co-nerd over automation, I’d love to hear from you!
